I had an amazing week at Boutique Hotel Regina, where the location was perfect for exploring Sorrento, being just a short walk from shops and the marina. The stunning views of the Bay of Naples and Mount Vesuvius from the breakfast room added to the enjoyment of my stay. Although I found the pool area lovely, it felt a bit small for the number of guests. Overall, the friendly staff, especially Giuseppe and Maria, made my experience truly nice.

Rooms

The rooms were clean and bright but varied in size; some were quite small and faced a wall. Overall, I found them comfortable enough for my stay.

I enjoyed the breakfast selection, which included a variety of delicious pastries and made-to-order omelets. The views from the breakfast area were simply beautiful.

The pool area, although small, was tranquil and surrounded by lemon trees. The rooftop bar offered stunning sunset views, though I felt it should allow more flexibility with seating.

5.8/10

I had a mixed experience during my stay at Boutique Hotel Regina. While the location was fantastic and the rooftop views were stunning, the comfort of the room left much to be desired. The breakfast offered a variety of options but had its shortcomings, and some aspects of the hotel felt dated or in need of improvement.

Rooms
5.0
My room was small and warm, and I struggled with the uncomfortable bed. The furniture felt outdated and the partial sea view was misleading due to obstructing fixtures.
Service
7.0
The staff was friendly and eager to assist, but response times could be improved, particularly regarding inquiries made to the Guest Relations desk.
Location
9.0
The hotel's central location made it easy for me to explore Sorrento, with just a short walk to local shops and the beautiful Marina.
Dining
6.0
Breakfast was served on the rooftop with beautiful views, but I encountered some issues with food freshness, and the selection could use more local products.
Facilities
6.0
The pool area was lovely and set in a beautiful garden, but the size was disappointing for families wanting to relax and chill during the day.

Staying at Boutique Hotel Regina in Sorrento was a good experience. The amazing views from my room over the Bay of Naples and Mount Vesuvius were a highlight, and the location made it super easy to explore the main attractions of the area. However, I did run into some minor issues with noise from the street at times, but overall, it didn't detract too much from my enjoyment.

Rooms

I stayed in a sea view room, and the views were lovely. The room itself was clean and well-decorated, though a bit on the cozy side. I wished there was more space for lounging comfortably.
Service
10.0
The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, really going out of their way to assist with any questions I had. They were amazing when it came to planning excursions and made my experience even better.
Location

The location was perfect, just a short walk to Tasso Square and other attractions. I enjoyed the quiet atmosphere, despite the busy street out front. It allowed me easy access to explore Sorrento without too much hassle.
Dining

Breakfast was a daily treat with a variety of delicious options, including fresh pastries and made-to-order omelets. Dining with those views made every meal feel special, and I even enjoyed a nice lunch by the pool.
Facilities

I loved the relaxing pool area surrounded by lemon trees. The rooftop bar was another gem, especially during sunset. I just wish the seating up there was a bit more ample.

I recently stayed at Boutique Hotel Regina during my wedding trip to Sorrento, and it was a bit of a mixed experience for me. While the stunning views from my room and the friendly staff were definite highlights, I found the limited breakfast options disappointing and the room size quite small. Moreover, the noise from outside and the uncomfortable bed made it challenging to get a good night’s sleep. If I had stayed here first, I might have felt differently, but given that I had just come from a 5-star hotel, it was a tough adjustment.

Rooms
7.0
I had a cozy room with two balconies offering beautiful views of Vesuvius. However, the room was quite small and could have been cleaner.
Service
9.0
The staff were incredibly helpful and polite, always greeting me with a smile and assisting with recommendations.
Location
8.0
The hotel was in a quiet area, away from the hustle and bustle, but still conveniently close to the main attractions.
Dining
6.0
While the breakfast had some lovely pastries, the limited selection was a letdown, especially for someone like me who enjoys a hearty breakfast.
Facilities
7.0
The small pool and rooftop bar were nice, especially for a relaxing evening, though I found the overall facilities a bit limited for a 4-star hotel.

My stay at Boutique Hotel Regina in Sorrento was a mixed bag. While the location was fantastic with stunning views of the Bay of Naples and Vesuvius, I found the breakfast options quite disappointing and the room smaller than expected. The staff was friendly and helpful, but I wished for better facilities overall. 🌅😐

Rooms
5.0
My room was compact and provided necessary amenities, including an en suite bathroom, but it felt quite tiny, especially with limited space to unpack. Additionally, I struggled with the hard bed, which made it uncomfortable for restful sleep.
Service
6.0
The staff was mostly friendly and attentive, but I felt there was room for improvement in handling guest inquiries. For instance, when my friend struggled with her room number, the reception wasn't very accommodating.
Location
8.0
The hotel's location is a major highlight, situated close to Marina Grande and the heart of Sorrento. The beautiful surroundings provided a peaceful retreat while remaining accessible to local attractions.
Dining
5.0
Breakfast was the biggest letdown; there was limited variety, especially for those seeking fresh options. I was hoping for more local produce, but it was mostly processed items which didn't meet my expectations.
Facilities
5.0
While there was a small pool and a rooftop terrace with beautiful views, some amenities were closed during my stay. This limited the overall experience I was hoping for with the advertised facilities.
